“A symphony of chrome, leather, and legacy”

As I have continued to expand my scope of photography, I was able to get my hands on a Nikon F3HP 35mm film camera off Facebook Marketplace of all places the summer of 2025. Knowing what that camera is capable of, I began to test rolls and learn the camera one roll at a time. During a trip to Los Angeles to spend time with my brother, sister-in-law and niece, I found myself walking the main street of Monrovia and getting a chance to snap a few shots of one of the most iconic and recognizable classic cars ever made. A few months later I found myself in Las Vegas for a short visit with a friend and once again came across yet another classic pony. The love I have for classic cars is largely thanks to my Father, an Uncle and a somewhat unlikely individual, my Grandmother Lillian who owned a 1972 Buick Riviera for most of my life. There is something special about the amalgamation of metal, rubber, leather, glass and gasoline that makes the cars of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s something to behold and marvel at. This small collection of photographs in this folder is an ode to what once was, what still remains, and what will hopefully last for many years to come.
